garfield’s “halloween” musical numbers are a lucid nightmare

i am so confused!

when garfield the cat regales us with his costume conundrum, the colorful possibilities are supplied by none other than voice over veteran lorenzo music.

and yet when its time for him to walk the streets at night (and enjoy massive amounts of candy), the singing voice is none other than recognizable r&b sensation lou rawls.

is this also supposed to be the voice of garfield? what is going on?

gareth from the office goes goth

we’ve all heard our share of goth and emo jokes at this point, but here’s an incredibly smart take on the faux-dark side from the bbc. check out mackenzie crook (from the british office) in an episode of bbc’s spine chillers, where he plays a goth who honestly believes he’s a vampire, despite being able to walk outside in sunlight, and has a tiny tattoo that reads, “individual.”

TGIF - urkel and carl have evil twin dummies

gonna have some fun, show you how it’s done - TGIF!

this ’spooktacular’ clip from family matters is truly amazing. as goofy as the show got, if you told me there was an episode in which carl fights soul-sucking, chucky-esque versions of himself and urkel, i probably would have been like, “ha ha - that’s funny but totally made up.” nope, it’s real!

their names are carlsbad and steevil, by the way.

TGIF - jennifer love hewitt loves boy meets world

gonna have some fun, show you how it’s done - TGIF!

on this horrorific episode of boy meets world, we see lots of frightened students, making out and reference-based meta humor. one of the best jokes is the character name of the episode’s special guest, jennifer love hewitt (hint: it’s surprisingly similar to her actual name).

lost boys eat your heart out (pun intended)
written by jenni on 12/06/07 leave a comment

though this was released a little over a month ago, for some reason it reminded me of the classic 80s vampire flick the lost boys. i keep hearing edward herrmann saying, “don’t invite a vampire into your house, it renders your defenses useless”.

what he should have added was…”well, except for super aids”.
