i haven’t been very impressed with what i’ve seen of the cleveland show so far. the teaser and theme song have left me cold. however, this 10 min. clip of the show on youtube is quite hilarious.

strange internet: muppets create an “experimental film”

i’m gearing up for some major muppet watching, between marathons with friends and AFI screenings in los angeles. to celebrate, here’s an odd mashup of “experimental film” by they might be giants and footage from a muppet documentary. there’s a great scene at :39 showing some magical muppet awesomeness.

ever since splinter saw april’s news-report, he’s been “coming” on the roof. is there no end to the ninja turtles’ sexual exploits? (warning - that last link is NSFW!)

strange internet: mario cranks that soulja boy

there’s been a lot of rick roll talk lately, but not nearly enough soulja boy. here’s a really tight clip of the super mario world gang crankin’ that. repeating the king koopa jaw-drop shot alone gets the video 4 out of 5 feather-capes.

in this animated music video for william shatner’s cover of pulp’s “common people,” (utilizing footage from the old star trek cartoon) it definitely appears there’s something going on between shatner and spock. will they boldly go where no man lots of men have gone before?

strange internet: ashley tisdale ruins a fad
| written by geoffrey on 06/10/08 | 5 comments |
as part of a promotional campaign for teen deodorant, ashley tisdale (high school musical) has rickroll’d all of us by doing a cookie cutter remix of rick astley’s “never gonna give you up.” i guess she didn’t “ruin” the fad, as it was already fading out of existence, but now it doesn’t get the quiet, dignified death it deserved.
r.i.p. rickroll.
