not-so-happy days
written by eric on 08/27/08 leave a comment

there are a lot of questions regarding the 10th season of happy days:

1.) who are all these girls?

2.) who is that little girl? does fonzie have a kid?

3.) is the guy from “married from children” supposed to be their friend? he looks way too smug.

… but the biggest question is…

4.) is fonzie holding a briefcase?! does that mean he has a … j-j-j-j-j-job?!?!
but–but–but jobs are for squares!

scooby dooby doo doo doo

the background music at the beginning of the clip simply just repeats “scooby dooby doo”

that is a textbook example of lazy writing.

heath’s career-defining performance
written by eric on 08/25/08 1 comment

“heath is the best actor of the summer!”
“heath is phenomenal!”
“heath deserves an oscar!”

the reviews are in: heathcliff the cat delivers the performance of a lifetime! this sassy, orange tabby has to be proud. he is the most talked about actor in the biggest movie of the summer.

you see, heathcliff has spent many a dark night with the catillac cats rummaging through mr. nutmeg’s trash-can … looking for fishbones!

these japanese people do a pretty great job of impersonating all the really big names from “we are the world,” but come on rice eaters, are your big ol’ brains so busy doing math that you can’t figure out the real charm of this 80’s classic are all the random non-singers thrown into the mix?

where’s oriental dan aykroyd, guys? until I see a slant eyed ghostbuster, I’m declaring this video a bigger disaster since the last time one of you drove on the freeway!  ~high five me!~
