saturday morning cartoon - opera cartoons written by geoffrey on 08/16/08
saturday morning is a time for culture and not for fun or cartoons. well, maybe you can have all of those things, despite what the buddy bears would have you believe. enjoy “the garfield opera” and the looney tunes classic “the rabbit of seville” — but don’t enjoy them too much, cause they’re good for you.

Just found this site. Great stuff, if only every generation of kids could have been raised on classic Nickelodeon. Not the present-day “cartoon acid trip” Nickelodeon.
The worst part of ‘Garfield and Friends’ had to be the “and friends” part though. When I’m sitting in front of the TV at 6:45 a.m. with my bowl of Cocoa Crisp, I want my Garfield, dammit! Not some stupid barnyard animal subplot.
