the best batman weapon of all-time? unless you count the batmobile as a weapon — which you shouldn’t — you’ve got to give it up for the batarang. a boomarang that’s gone through some serious batgeneering, batman frequently relies on the weapon in the animated series. check out this montage of great moments in bataranging:

Wow. I never remembered Batman picking up his Batarangs. Do you think he just had thousands to spare?
Also, looking back, it’s pretty amazing that this show got to use guns so liberally.

to add to that thought, if he just leaves them lying around, who does pick them up? is there some guy who collects them? what if a kid were to find them? even the bad guys in die hard 3 don’t just leave weapons around for kids to find.

it’s either robin, or they have little GPS trackers in them, and every so often batman makes a round through gotham picking them up. my bet’s on robin, though.
