i wish the mario saturday morning cartoons were better. they got the names & personalities of the koopa kids really wrong, and a lot of the plots were downright retarded!
that being said, it’s always fascinating to me when one cartoon show comments on another. so here’s the adventures of super mario bros. 3’s take on the teenage mutant ninja turtle phenomenon.

(also of note: it’s pretty weird watching the mario brothers lose their raccoon powers at the end of part one. in a game you don’t have to think about it, but in a cartoon it’s a big deal!)

That episode has an astounding number of shots where the characters are colored wrong. And that parrot changed colors about fifty times.
