nintendo revisited: double dragon 2 written by daroff on 03/18/08
i grew up with a kid named john-michael, and his thing was that he was way more into comic books, horror movies, and nintendo than anyone else in the whole school. my most proud moment as a kid was going to john-michael to talk about how i just beat double dragon 2: the revenge, only to find out he hadn’t. you heard me right. i had accomplished something the original nintendo geek couldn’t. if i was a better friend i’d have revealed my game winning secret.
returning to this game, i’ve discovered that i’m better than my friends at it, and i may possibly be the best double dragon 2 player of all time. don’t believe me? i challenge you all to two player b. that’s right, the gloves are off. i will kick your ass and take your lives. and that people was my secret to beating double dragon 2. i killed my own brother and took all four of his lives. the game’s amazingly easy when you can die six times and still continue on.

The NES is a crazy an terrible place. You gotta do what you have to to get by. Just to get by, man. When you hit that power button ts like a witch, man, a switch. Sometimes Bimmy (I mean, Billy) may have to bite into the flesh of his brother to succed. Its worse then Nam out there.
