the game show version of where in the world is carmen sandiego? had many good things going for it, not the least of which was the awesome rockapella theme song. where in time had the problem of trying to follow up with another great theme — apparently without the help of rockapella — so what did they do? try to rip themselves off with a rockapella-meets-sci-fi thing that sounds abysmal. can you find the missing melody in this theme, gumshoes?

I actually sort of liked the “we’re on the case” part of this song. And the sci-fi thing was interesting, but this show could never measure up to its predecessor in a million years.
