nintendo revisited: world class track meet
written by daroff on 03/04/08

i just couldn’t find a good video of this game. come on, people, get on that.

my mother, in her infinite wisdom, bought us the power pad, then wouldn’t let us use it. in her defense, she had no idea that using the power pad would shake the entire house. but still, this was one of history’s coolest inventions and it just sat in a cabinet.

every once in a while, i would pull it out and play world class track meet with my hands. unfortunately, this only worked with the long jump. i think i hold some sort of long jump record with my cheating. please, for those of you who have really, truly had the pleasure of playing this game, share your power pad stories with me.

My god. I of course have a power pad (3 actuly) and I suck with it.

I played World Class Track Meet with my friend and we couldent beat turtle. I finnaly managed to, but failed at the second guy. I then realized I was never gonna be able to beat someone named “Cheetah.”
