super trivia sunday! old cable channels written by daroff on 02/24/08
what cable channel, that exists now only as a part of a disney conglomorate, featured all at one time in its line-up: batman, zorro, harry and the hendersons, and macgyver?
the first person to comment with the correct answer (limit one answer per person) will get their name in the hall of fame on the side bar and get to lord it over everyone. don’t be discouraged if someone else answers first; there’s a good chance that person is wrong.

Jeez. Batman has been on so many cable stations, it’s hard to keep track. I know TV Land is part of Viacom, because it’s related to Nick. I think it also aired on the USA Network. I don’t know who owns them now, so I’ll guess USA.

1) think older
2) harry and the hendersons is the key to figuring it out

Is it the Family Channel?

go jamie m! get busy, it’s your birthday!
i remember when i was a kid finding out that fox was buying out the family channel. immediately i knew they’d stop putting out new episodes of zorro, and i’d never see batman again.
then when abc/disney bought it, i knew that’d be the death knell of all quality programming.
come on, you can’t beat a kid’s network that shows nothing but the 700 club during prime cartoon hours. start the brainwashing early, that’s what i always say.

The brainwashing as in the cartoons or the 700 club, because I don’t know many kids that would choose 700 club over cartoons ^^

i mean there were good cartoons on the family channel, but if you woke up and tuned in too early, you would catch the tail end of the 700 club before scooby-doo. i had no idea what they were talking about, but i knew pat robertson was insane.
