guys, if you haven’t seen the happy video game nerd, i highly recommend him. he’s no AVGN, but he’s got great taste.

i bought star tropics in high school, and it became my friends’ mutual obsession. it played like every other nintendo game, but we didn’t get that re-run quality that comes with beating mega man for the seventieth time. star tropics is like legend of zelda, but with a more linear plot. but there’s nothing straight forward about where the story goes. i won’t spoil anything, but if you will never guess how this game ends up.

since i didn’t play this game when i was really young, it doesn’t have the nostalgia quality on replay, but that doesn’t make it any less fun. welcome to awesomecola!
