tabs, new cake, and more…

we made some awesome changes to the site today. here’s a run-down:

1. tabs up top, which highlight our running features like weekly trivia and saturday morning cartoons.

2. new cake! we got sick of having our dumb mugs on the thing, so we turned it into a terrified person.

3. we’re broadening our fucking horizons. we’re gonna blog everyday on retro culture, like usual, but over time we’re gonna start blogging on other stuff geeks like, which may or may not be retro related. to start, the “strange internet,” which includes pointless mashups and weird youtube oddities.

in conclusion, enjoy our slightly different website!

    Sweet changes. The new tabs make things alot more managable says me 5/5. “The best things in life are here” I think is an inferior tag to “The past was awesome” however it is not my website to decide 2/5. As for the cake, this new one is mobile, and I wouldent feel like I was eating people (THE CAKE IS OVERTIME! OVERTIME!) when I snacked on it, but it could probably escape with its new legs if I tried to eat it. Maybe you should decorate a cake with a frosting face and picture it 4/5. The new things to do with present geeky stuff was hard to decide on, Im a past loving geek, which put me in the mid-ground. I decided I like present pop-culture and random interwbs stuff almost as much anyway 4/5. Overall, I would give the new layout a 4/5. Thats right. I revied you’re site layout. Big whoop, wanna fight about it?
