for hitchhikers guide to the galaxy fans, this is a must-watch. it’s a british cartoon called doctor snuggles from 1980, written by none other than douglas adams, starring peter ustinov (the villainous prince john from disney’s robin hood). this show is really fucking british.

in this episode, “the remarkably fidgety river,” we find out that someone is stealing the ocean. it’s like carmen sandiego on acid.
