in the second season finale of the OC, marissa shoots trey, and the song “dear sister” plays while trey dies in slow motion. i don’t know what that means either. later, SNL parodied that moment by having many, many characters shoot each other - each time the song plays, and it goes into slow motion.
this is now an internet phenemenon, as witnessed by the video above. enjoy, my friends. enjoy.

Yo! This is my video! Thanks for linking to it - you guys rule!
I threw it together the day after all of the other spoofs started popping up on YouTube, pretty much because I thought the concept could still be funny even if it didn’t involve someone getting shot. Somehow, this scene in this episode was the first thing I thought of (who knew memories of Step by Step were so fresh in my mind?).
Finding quality Step by Step clips is hard.
