how could you not want to watch this over and over again?

in possibly the most misleading ad campaign of all time, the studio releasing “when a man loves a woman” wanted us to believe the movie was about a couple that really really loved each other. well no, the movie is actually about an alcoholic meg ryan learning to accept the love of her devoted husband. this movie has dozens of great moments: the paper towel scene, the “some people are trying to have sex” scene, andy garcia’s monologue about his wife’s smile.

but apparently the scene we just had to see posted on youtube is the scene where meg ryan gets drunk and slaps her daughter, thereby scarring her for life. this scene was hard enough to watch the first time, why the hell would anyone think passive youtube surfers would want to watch this while looking for quirky meg ryan clips?!?!?
