let’s all forget ted knight’s final sitcom
written by geoffrey on 08/10/07

i’ve never seen too close for comfort, but judging by this promo, it must be terrible. there’s no other explanation. ted knight, aka judge smails from caddyshack, seems to be slumming in this cranked out 80’s sitcom. look at how big his eyes get when someone whispers to him — that’s the kind of gigantic over-acting that good actors do on sitcoms when they hate sitcoms.

ted died in 1986 from cancer, just after the show ended. thankfully, too close for comfort is dead and forgotten, but ted is with us always, reminding us what gophers can do to a golf course… in our hearts.
