remember those horrible ninja turtle action figures they started releasing towards the end of the series? so do we.

we used a lot of TMNT toy footage that we found on youtube for this video - here’s a list of some of the sources:

    The new TMNT toys are very bad. They don’t have the muscle/veins they used to have. When I was young, that’s what made them so cool.

    for me, the joy was looking on the back of the box for toys of characters that hadn’t even been introduced on the show yet. like holy crap, an evil ninja turtle with a black mask, i can’t wait to see the turtles fight that guy.

    They left out the Turtles blimp, which I think was never really utilized in the show. I had one until it popped from being thrown into the sewer play set.

    I’m pretty sure I had that giraffe. True story.

    Looking back, my parents must have though I was retarded. I’m surprised they never got me tested (or simply stopped buying me future farmers of america ninja turtles).

    Wow this was really not funny. But they did go over board with TMNT stuff like the Military turtles. The Pizza Thrower was bad ass though, and Matt the Blimp was in the cartoon all the time. Come on buddy.

    The blimp was definately on the series. I remember Donatello hiding it behind a tree once. Even as a kid I thought that was retarded.

    The blimp toy was hardcore. That thing has been in my attic for about 15 years and hasn’t deflated at all.

    This is hilarious. I never realized how commercially whored those poor turtles were. I think I had the pizza launcher when I was a kid. Are you guys still making videos?
