there was a time in the history of degrassi jr. high when the writers had to think of a way to keep the underclass students on the show once a large chunk of the cast was scheduled to graduate junior high school.

so they of course made the only logical choice: burn the freakin’ jr. high down at the end of year dance, thus forcing everyone to attend the high school next year.
