steve martin does michael jackson’s “billie jean”
written by geoffrey on 05/18/07

wow. just the idea of hot as turbo-fire comedian steve martin stepping into jacko’s shoes was enough to elicit tons of laughter and applause from this 80’s audience. those were better times. now michael jackson impressions haven’t been funny in years, and i haven’t seen a great steve martin tv sketch in what feels like ages.

the clip comes from a program called the new show, produced by lorne michaels and starring steve martin, jeff goldblum, catherine o’hara and dave thomas, among others. i’d never heard of this before. has anyone seen it? is it funny?
