actually, i would love to write a parody blog where jesus reviews games. i’m sure he’d say things like, “inventive use of the stylus” and “enough depth to satisfy hardcore gamers while not alienating newcomers”, but then he’d also bless stuff.

anyway, siliconera’s run by a guy named spencer silicon, who (and this next part is not a joke) is a real life doctor with his real life doctorate degree. i forget what he got it in, i think spanish or something. maybe history. science, i think. he doesn’t like to let people know that because he’s afraid it’ll look pretentious, but you can’t hide from the truth, mr. silicon.

anyway, in addition to being one of the nicest guys in the videogame blogosphere, he’s also really good at catching breaking news. plus - he writes in japanese as well as english, which is good news for all you japanese overtime fans, of which there are none.
