proud to get high in the u.s. of archie written by geoffrey on 04/20/07
lets say you’re writing an opening theme song for an animated cartoon based on the wholesome, conservative archie comics. the characters are being placed throughout american history, where they’ll have adventures. your audience is middle america, and to ensure you get them, you write a theme song that’s…
a) whacked-out, drug trippin’ 70’s psychofunkedelic hippie music.
b) anything else.
answer after the jump.
the answer is (a) apparently. why? we’ll never know exactly, but this song sure creeps me the hell out.
if i heard it on acid, i’d imagine a giant spider with jughead’s face was trying to put me in a hamburger. bad trip, man. bad trip.
