mr. t cartoon intro is surprisingly gay

not that there’s anything wrong with this, but the amount of effeminate and homo-erotic subtext in the intro to the mr. t cartoon is surprising! here’s a run-down:
1. the gymnastics - now i can understand using some gymnastics as a way to draw in more girl viewers, but there’s so much of it here, it’s like watching the part of the olympics your mom loves — as opposed to watching a cartoon about mr. t kicking ass! kinda gay.
2. the way he puts his hand on the kid’s shoulder and awkwardly leans in. very uncomfortable, very gay.

does anybody do video game coverage better than silicoera? sure: his name is jesus.
actually, i would love to write a parody blog where jesus reviews games. i’m sure he’d say things like, “inventive use of the stylus” and “enough depth to satisfy hardcore gamers while not alienating newcomers”, but then he’d also bless stuff.

before WoW, there was only “the warcraft disco”
| written by geoffrey on 04/30/07 | 1 comment |

it’s easy to see what players gained with the transition from warcraft 2 to world of warcraft. now millions of gamers can play together from across the planet, the warcraft universe is jaw-droppingly larger, and people can make actual money playing WoW. well, while all those things might be fine — i guess — warcraft 2 had a secret disco song that remixed sound clips from the game into a danceable, hilarious easter egg. listen to it here:
sure, WoW has the technology, the popularity and the better-game-iness, but does it have the funk?

she tv: the worst sketch comedy show of all-time?
| written by geoffrey on 04/27/07 | 5 comments |
i’m seriously thinking about this, trying to come up with a worse sketch show than she tv. it’s hard. kelsey grammer’s the sketch show was terrible, but at least the bits were short. the downer channel was disappointing, but not a total trainwreck. whether or not you like the tracey ullman show, at least it launched the simpsons - the only thing she tv ever launched was a rocket full of awful.
wow, this is tough. can anyone think of a sketch comedy show that’s worse than she tv?

EDIT: welcome, wikipedia users, to overtime comedy. our site is now a footnote in history — proof that nick cannon was a “failed comedian.” we’re very proud.

2ND EDIT: wikipedia stopped using us as a source. ah well. it was a fun ride while it lasted. i’ve learned that the best way to get kicked off of the wikipedia is to call attention to yourself.
