the secretly lonely world of alex mack written by geoffrey on 02/20/07
a poem by alex mack
doused with chemicals
chemicals of loneliness.
i turn into liquid
but my heart is not liquid.
it is hard, cold, and filled with sorrow.
grief, anguish, despair.
loneliness!
you mortals cannot possibly imagine my pain
my only “super power”
is the power to be sad
very sad.
super lonely.
yeah, i have amazing abilities.
but can my electrical zaps heal
my broken heart?
no.
or if they can, i haven’t figured that out yet.
tonight’s plan:
do homework
watch SNICK
be incredibly lonely.
i wish those chemicals had killed me.

Does the fact that you can pull off flannel make it better at all?
