the weekend streak-end with ray stevens

ray stevens lives in an entirely different universe. and i don’t mean he has a wild imagination which takes us into wacky worlds via his songs. i mean that culturally, i live in an entirely different universe from him and his fans. is that a bad thing? no, of course not. it’s just weird to think that there was another parody songwriter popular in the 80’s who wasn’t weird al. it’s unfathomable, except for the fact that he’s country. i don’t dislike country music, but i also don’t listen to it that much, so it all makes sense. ray stevens is the bizarro country weird al. by the way, i’m fully aware that ray stevens came before weird al. however, i stand by my statement: ray stevens is the bizarro country weird al.

this weekend, try to wrap your head around these comedy songs, and try to imagine the sort of person who has all of ray steven’s albums. i bet you can’t!!

in mississippi squirel revival, a fat woman getting a squirel stuck in her dress leads to an entire church becoming born again. no, i’m not kidding.

it’s me again, margaret is about a pervert who sexually harasses a fat woman over the phone. if it’s not the same fat actress as in mississippi squirel revival, i’d be very surprised. also, the tagged on ending is amazing. spoiler alert: the fat woman decides to post the pervert’s bail, and indicated that she’ll have sex with him. wanna know why? because she’s fat, ugly, and has no one else in her life. hilarious!

ray steven’s take on zombies, sitting up with the dead, begins with an interesting fact about funeral customs, features a lot of sped up running from the undead, and ends with the line — “next time, i’m gonna send flowers!” agreed.

the streak. an animated, naked man streaks through a community, and inspires other streakers. as if that wasn’t good enough, there is a woman from standards and practices, furious about the music video! hey censors — you can suck on ray stevens big fat cock!!!!!! i bet that took the starch out of that blouse of yours, mrs. prissybottom!
