most of us here on the blog are diehard nintendo fans, but that’s not to say that the sega genesis didn’t also have some great games. here’s the history of sonic the hedgehog in five minutes (including some amazing animation from Sonic CD), brought to you by japan’s own “the sega channel”.
a runthrough of the beavis and butthead video game.
an old commercial entitled, “genesis does what nintendo’nt”. though i disagree with the sentiment, it’s still a pretty cool bit of mudslinging.
pretty incredible japanese anime, “sonic vs. metal sonic”.
one more runthrough, of “tazmania”. the animation and graphics on this game are pretty incredible - it’s easy to forget how good the genesis was at making cartoon characters look like themselves.
