video: will archangel’s need for vengence overcome his loyalty to his friends? x-men, the animated series.

i frequently write these entries around one in the morning, so it takes a lot to catch my exhausted brain’s attention.  and this dose of old-schol x-men woke me right up.

man, do they get everything right in these cartoons. the voice acting, the animation, the characters…apocalypse calls them “foolish insects” and “insolent vermin” about a billion times, which is exactly the amount of times i want apocalypse to say those things. 

also: like that episode of star trek with geordi and the holodeck, check out the creepy sexual relationship between beast and the spaceship. at one point the ship goes, “i believe you denote this new sensation i feel as…satisfaction.” creepy!
