video: 4th graders putting on “the monster mash” at their school talent show.
i always hated the school talent show. mainly because i would sit in the audience and think to the myself “pfft, don’t clap for them. i’m more talented than them.” why did i never enter a talent show? because of crippling stage fright - now get out of my room!
but i have to admit, if these kids were in my school’s talent show, they would have earned my respect. sure all the girls would be talking about andrew’s acoustic set, the next day, but i would insist that this musical number was where all the real talent was showcased. and you know why my opinion matters? because i’m someone very important.
besides one performance of these kids makes up for all the crap i had to sit through every single year.

I love the theory that i created in my head - that these are actually all the same band. They would play every year of your high school talent shows - and just hire a new singer. You actually tracked down and found legitimate sources.
