operation weekend relaxation: TGIF, the musical

when i want to relax, i listen to some nice music. when i want to chillax, i listen to music from my favorite TGIF sitcoms. let’s all chillax this weekend with the following great pulls:

it’s still the best, so let’s get it out of the way. everybody do the urkel. (and while doing the urkel, check out the excellent subplot during the urkel, where a bully spikes urkel’s punch)

uncle jessie’s so balls, he sings at his own wedding. then, check out a “montage of jessie’s and becky’s love”, including real baby photos of lori laughlin and john stamos. full house, season four.

it’s friday night! and the mood is…

officialy TGIF? i’m not sure. but this original song, “america is watching ABC”, certianly mixes balki bartacamos with twin peaks’ agent dale cooper in ways i’d never imagined. also: the kid from “life goes on” sings. macgyver sings while playing pool. father fucking dowling sings in front of a beach!

worst/best part of this video, though: they show quick scenes from “all new ABC shows!” the shows? baby talk, cop rock, gabriel’s fire, going places, married people & america’s funniest videos II. so it’s wierd to see the gang from who’s the boss or dougie howser singing about great new shows that were instantly cancelled.

when you think TGIF, you probably don’t think “dinosaurs”. and yet they were there. take that, expectations - and enjoy the first music video from “the baby”.
