i don’t understand. all the elements were there: i watched cartoons, i played super nintendo, and i liked donkey kong. so, why did i never watch this cartoon? why didn’t i even hear about it? where was i? yes, the animation looks shitty, but that’s in retrospect. it’s certainly on par with reboot, and believe me, i saw a lot of reboot. like the season where they get lost on the internet, and in the last episode, the children do a play about the story arc from that season, recapping everything. oh, man. that was great.
this donkey kong thing doesn’t make sense. but then again, these days, nothing does.
