warning: this bubsy cartoon is terrible!!

is this the worst unmade cartoon pilot opening of all time? yes. you’d be hard pressed to top this one, with its humorlessness, shameless pandering and overall barf-inducing stentch of badness. That’s the challenge i’m putting out there for the entire world: find a worse unmade cartoon opening than this. if you find one, buy yourself a coke. you deserve it.

oh, to be a young television executive, confident in the prospects of video game character bubsy, for whom the term “also-ran” is as nice a compliment as you can bestow. And that’s Rob Paulson doing the voice, of Yakko Warner fame. If only Yakko would drop an anvil on Bubsy, to prevent him from tip-toeing, followed by air guitaring, followed by break dancing, followed by an undeseved sense of pride surrounding his own name. worse yet, apparently in the full cartoon, he says his catch phrase, “what could possibly go wrong,” about 300 million times.
